Plans & billing

OpenTeller is a paid app, no free tier, and no harvesting your data to pay the bills. There are two plans. Here's what each one gets you and how billing works.

Pro: $6.99/month (USD)

The private plan. You run in iCloud mode with no account, and your data lives in your own iCloud. There's no free trial on Pro.

Pro includes:

Pro+: $13.99/month (USD), with 3 days free

The account plan. It's everything in Pro, plus the connected features that need an OpenTeller account.

Which one to pick

Choose Pro if you want maximum privacy and don't need the web app, sharing, or bank sync. Choose Pro+ if you want bank sync, the web app, household sharing, or to connect AI tools.

It maps to how you set up the app: picking iCloud mode is Pro, and an OpenTeller account is Pro+.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew monthly until you cancel. You can manage or cancel any time in your App Store subscription settings. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

Prices are in U.S. dollars. The App Store shows your local price at checkout.

The free trial

The 3-day free trial applies to Pro+. If you don't cancel before it ends, it converts to the paid plan.

Restore purchases

If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, use Restore to bring your subscription back. There's no second charge.

Switching plans

Upgrades and downgrades are handled by the App Store with normal proration.

Households

One Pro+ subscription can cover household sharing, so everyone in your household sees the shared finances.
